James A Del Savio, CPA

James joined WEST & Co CPA as a shareholder in 2003. With over 40 years of experience in public accounting Jim presently holds the position of quality control officer and technical reviewer.
In addition to audits of governmental units, not-for-profit corporations and medium -size businesses, Jim has vast experience working with small to medium-size closely held businesses and for the needs of the owners.
Professional affiliations include a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and a former member of the Professional Development Committee of the Northeast Chapter of NYSSCPA.

Neil La Mere, CPA

Neil specializes in the audit of commercial businesses, governmental units and not-for-profit organizations. He has extensive experience with budgeting, internal control, compliance and accounting procedure issues.
Affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, an associate member of the Association of School Business Officials and a holder of an AICPA Certificate in Governmental Auditing and Accounting.

Carol Pinsley, CPA

Carol has vast knowledge in the field of taxation. With over 30 years of experience she has worked closely with individuals, corporations, partnerships, trust and estates to meet their specific accounting and financial needs.
Past and present affiliations include, Treasurer of Saratoga Hospital Board of Trustees, former Treasurer of Temple Sinai (Saratoga), member of Board of Community Hospice, Board member of Catholic Charities of Saratoga, member of Institutional Review Board as St. Peters Hospital, member of Ethics Committees of Saratoga Hospital and St Peters Hospital.

Jill Thaisz, CPA

Jill specializes in the fields of non-profit accounting and auditing as well as governmental auditing. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 2008 in Ohio and then received her New York State certification in 2010. Jill joined WEST & Company CPAs PC in 2009 after completing her work as an Auditor at Ernst & Young, Cleveland, Ohio. Jill holds a Bachelors of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and a Masters of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. Jill is a member of the AICPA and the NYSSCPA.

Shelley Lansburg, CPA

Shelley became a Certified Public Accountant in 1989 and has had vast experience in both the internal accounting and public accounting of school districts. Shelley first joined WEST & Company CPAs PC from 1985 to 1999 and for the past 13 years has been working as a School District Treasurer. Shelley rejoined the firm in 2011 and is a valued member of our team once again. Shelley also has worked with trusts and pension plans. She received a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Plattsburgh State University and is a member of the AICPA and the NYSSCPA.
